Chief Master Sgt. Paul Moreau, 17th Training Wing command chief master sergeant (at left facing down), competes against Staff Sgt. Chi Yi, a military training leader from the 315th Training Squadron (far right), during a pushup competition Jan. 26 at the Events Center. Both Airmen put their upper-body strength and physical fitness to the test with this friendly competition in order to raise funds for quality of life organizations on base and to enhance camaraderie between all ranks and services. Chief Moreau pumped out an outstanding 97 pushups in a little more than a minute. Sergeant Yi “only” managed 45 – while wearing a flak vest. More than $600 was raised for the Chief’s Group and the Goodfellow Rising Six to help support programs on base.
