GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The 17th Training Group hosted a formation run at the flightline Jan. 3.

Around 2,000 Goodfellow members from the 17th TRG, 17th Training Support Squadron and 344th Military Intelligence Battalion came together to run 1.8 miles in celebration of the new year and increase inter service cooperation.

“There’s no better way to get everyone back from the holidays than to do a formation run to increase the comradery,” said Capt. Chelsea Esenwein, 17th TRSS network operations flight commander. “I thought it was awesome it was a beautiful day. I’m glad it wasn’t snowing and cold. I think everyone had a good time.”

Participants ranged from students, instructors and other permanent party.
