GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The 17th Services Division hosted the Couples Relay Fun Run Monday at the base track.

It was a warm and windy day as 10 teams took part in the event. Originally billed as a "couples" relay in honor of Valentine's Day, the event quickly turned into a team relay after only one "couple" showed up. This didn't stop Senior Airman Danielle Inman and other services division personnel from recruiting additional teams.

Once all was said and done, 10 teams ran as many laps as possible in 20 minutes. The winning team accumulated 14 laps in 20 minutes. All teams had a good time and everyone was given a complimentary bagful of valentine candy for their participation.

According to Senior Airman Danielle Inman, special events coordinator, the event gave people a chance to have some fun while getting "fit to fight."
