GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --

Santa’s Market is on Nov. 19, but Community Appreciation Day will skip this year.

Community Appreciation Day will no longer be held annually, but held with Santa's Market every other year.

“Santa's Market offers a wide variety of items from hand-crafted furniture to salty and sugary treats,” Master Sgt. Adella Creque, 316th Training Squadron career development course. “It is a great place to find that perfect one-of-a-kind gift for your special someone not to mention a visit from Santa Claus from 1 to 3 p.m. or if you happen to be on the naughty list, the Grinch may make an appearance as well.”

There will be no military displays, military demonstrations or drill competition taking place in conjunction with Santa’s Market.

“Originally, Santa's Market started in the gym on base with just 10 local vendors and now we have over 100 booths,” said Creque.

For vendors interested in participating in Santa’s Market, contact the 17th Force Support Squadron at 325-654-3237.
