Leaders from the 480th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group from Fort Gordon met with the 17th Training Group at the Brandenburg Hall Feb. 9.

“The 480th ISR Group from Fort Gordon came to Goodfellow to line up resiliency efforts with first-term Airmen with the overall path from Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California, to Goodfellow, to Fort Gordon in order to combat issues ranging from retainability and retention to personal resilience,” said Capt. Katherine Ward, 316th Training Squadron DOC Flight Commander. “It will benefit all bases as we are always looking at ways of better taking care of our Airmen.”

Topics covered during the two-day meeting were resiliency efforts, Airmen development and Comprehensive Airmen Fitness.

“I think our meeting will create a smoother transition for Airmen coming in,” said Senior Master Sgt. Todd Schuler, 480th ISR Group 3rd Intelligence Squadron superintendent.

The 480th ISR Group also met with military training leaders and received their input.
