The 17th Force Support Squadron hosted a St. Patrick’s Day fun-run, a 5 kilometer run spanning from the Event Center to the flight line March 17.

The run welcomed all base members to participate.

“I didn’t expect it to be so hot,” said Airman 1st Class Bretta Jones, 316th Training Squadron student. “But it still feels good to get out here and run.”

Jones and Airman 1st Class Jacob Bull, 312th Training Squadron student, were the female and male winners, respectively.

“I can definitely feel being out of shape,” said Bull. “I usually train a lot harder than this.”

Bull finished the 5k with a run time of 18:56.

He joked about the trophy.

“I have hundreds of these,” said Bull, marathon runner and trainer.
