Public Affairs tests their merit at the Fire Muster Challenge

The 17th Training Wing Public Affairs team, consisting of 1st Lt. Tisha Wilkerson, media operations, Master Sgt. Joy Meek, superintendent, James Orlando, visual information specialist, and Staff Sgt. Anthony Hetlage, broadcast journalist journeyman, competed in the annual Fire Muster Challenge beside the Fire Department on Goodfellow Air Force Base Oct. 13.

Several teams competed in the event which included challenges such as the kettle bell carry, a litter carry, pulling a sled of weights, an obstacle course of confined dark areas, unrolling and rerolling a fire hose, and lastly they had to knock down targets with a fire hose.
