U.S. Army Pfc. David C. Campos, 312th Training Squadron student, is the Goodfellow Student of the Month Spotlight for January, a series highlighting exceptional Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors and Marines.

17th Training Wing Public Affairs: What led you to join the military?

Campos: Just wanted to give my wife and I a better life and to serve my country at the same time.

What has been the most impactful moment in your career so far?

Learning how to grow as a person and seeing how different it is from civilian to the military.

What are your hobbies?

I like watching sports events: football, basketball. I love to run and learn more about the military.

What do you want to accomplish during your time here at Goodfellow Air Force Base?

Maintain a high GPA, not fail any tests and graduate on time.

Is there any advice or anything extra you would like to share?

Study all the time; try not to get video games or TV’s. Focus on studies but also have fun at the same time. Don’t drain yourself.
