On behalf of the 17 TRW Chapel community, welcome to the 17 TRW/HC website and to our wide and exciting range of Chapel programs. Many opportunities for worship, religious education, fellowship and other means of spiritual growth await you and your family here at Goodfellow AFB. Our programs are designed to meet the religious needs of all ages. Please participate in the faith group activities of your choice.
Our Mission
To provide for the Constitutional right to the Free Exercise of Religion to the World-class Firefighting and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Warriors and their Families.
The Chapel team serves people who come from differing backgrounds and cultures. We provide spiritual support and education to permanent party and temporary duty personnel, students, retirees and families. Please come to the Goodfellow AFB Chapel for Service. Bring your family and friends for an uplifting fellowship!
Crossroads Student Ministry Center
Crossroads is a "sanctuary" for Airmen, Soldiers, Marines and Sailors to get away from the training environment. We provide a "home" away from home for students. Volunteers known as "Crossroads moms and dads" And Friends of Crossroads spend time here baking cookies and talking with students and staff. Chapel student leaders "White Ropes" are students who run crossroads for the benefit of their fellow students, provide a listening ear, and a good example to their peers.
BASE CHAPEL SCHEDULE
PROTESTANT SERVICE:
Praise and Worship
Sundays at 11 a.m. in the Chapel.
SERVICE STATEMENT: Contemporary style with old-time favorites woven into a life-changing worship experience which addresses real life issues.
ROMAN CATHOLIC WORSHIP:
Sunday Mass
Sundays at 9 a.m. in the Chapel. Call for special or Holiday Service times.
Tuesday-Friday at 11:30 a.m.
