Responsibilities: Care for dogs at their animal shelter

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Volunteers needed:

Responsibilities: support building a home for a family in need in San Angelo
Date/ time: March 10 -- (there will be external and internal painting on these dates)

SAN ANGELO MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS: FAMILY DAY JAPAN
Volunteers needed:
15 to 20
Responsibilities: Assist with art activities, serve food, take surveys, and greet visitors
Date/ time: March 10, 9:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. or 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Location: Museum, 1 Love Street

Additional info: Individuals who are fluent in Japanese are needed to lead language and writing activities. Also, would like individuals who have been to Japan to share objects, photos and stories.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY/ AIR FORCE SERGEANTS ASSOCIATIONS
Responsibilities:
To help restore San Angelo neighborhoods, by painting local homes near old Lincoln Middle School.
Volunteers needed: 100

ROTC DETACHMENT 847 OF ANGELO STATE UNIVERSITY: JROTC DRILL COMP JUDGE
Volunteers needed:
14-16 active duty volunteers to judge different events
Date/ Time: March 24 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Location: Contact POC
Additional Info: Prior to the drill meet, volunteer judges will be briefed on the individual events they will be judging. Events include: color guard, armed regulation, unarmed regulation, and exhibition. Rules of engagement for each event will be provided to the judges beforehand.

AMBLESIDE SCHOOL OF SAN ANGELO: ART SPRING GALA

2012 UPWARD SOCCER SEASON
Volunteers needed:
30 to 45
Responsibilities: Coach and referee youth soccer
Date/ Time: Coaches start practice on March 26th; referees start April 21st. Coaches and referees Will need to attend in February and March.
Location: Kirby Park, Edmund Blvd. and Nueces Street

Additional info: Commitment of 2 hours a week for coaches and 2 to 3 hours a week for referees. Season ends June 11th.

LAKE NASWORTHY 4TH OF JULY EVENT
Volunteer needed:
As many as possible
Responsibilities: Greet and welcome the guests as they arrive and show them around if needed. Serve food and drinks for about 3 hours. Drive golf carts to pick up guests between Bentwood Country Club and the ASU pavilion. Decorate and remove the decorations at the ASU pavilion. Ensure that the guests are enjoying the event.

Additional info: If possible, I would like to have a volunteer who enjoys these events to manage the entire production. He or she will meet some of the elite from San Angelo and get some great responsibilities.

BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF SAN ANGELO: MENTOR OUTREACH TO AT-RISK YOUTH

Volunteers needed: 50
Responsibilities: Interact with and mentor youth at Northside and Southside facilities
Date/ time: As soon as possible, minimum of one hour per week with at least a 6-month commitment.
