10/1/2012 - GOODFELLOW AFB, Texas -- A Hispanic Heritage Month celebration will be held here at The Event Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Oct. 2. This is a come and go/open house event for the entire base.
Events include:
- Cultural food sampling and Hispanic cultural music.
- Art Gallery with paintings presented by local Hispanic artists: Anthony Fuentez, Yolanda Rayos, Michelle Cuevas, and Alejandro Castanon.
- On-going Jiu-Jitsu demonstrations with talks on the Hispanic contribution to the sport and American culture.
- Cultural information displays by students from the 316th Training Support Squadron.
