The staff was awarded 3rd place honors for best overall Metro Style-format publication.
Individual awards were captured by two of the Public Affairs staff; Staff Sgt. Carissa Lee's commentary, "I'm Guilty, Too," won a second-place award and Airman 1st Class Luis Loza-Gutierrez won third place honors in both the photojournalism and art/graphics in support of a publication categories.
The winning entries were chosen by a panel of three civilian judges and one military judge, all with experience in journalism, photojournalism and newspaper operations.
