White Chocolate Mocha, Caramel Macchiato, and Tazo Hot Tea are just a few of the tantalizing menu items available at the X-Press-O's Café scheduled to open in the lobby of the wing headquarters building.

Far from just another "cup of Joe," the new establishment is to offer a lengthy list of both hot and cold beverages favored by coffee connoisseurs around the world.

And as their cups proudly state, X-Press-O's brews genuine Starbucks brand coffee, intent on satisfying the most particular taste buds.

The café will operate from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and is available to all base personnel. Military students passing by the facility on their way to school in the mornings are expected to make up a large portion of the customer base. "It's their culture," commented Bowling Center Manager Michael Birriel, also the manager of X-Press-O's Café, referencing the iconic status flavored coffees and lattes have reached with America's younger generations.

Aside from the popular hot beverages, the café will offer an array of blended drinks and gourmet ice smoothies which could prove to be a hit during the Texas heat waves with which Goodfellow personnel are all too familiar.

The café is also planning to offer an assortment of muffins, croissants and breads to compliment its beverages.

After a week of training and giving out free samples, Birriel said he has high hopes for the little coffee shop operated by the 17th Services Division. "I've hired a good crew and I think we'll do well," he stated with confidence.

With morning temperatures dropping and winter weather on its way, the odds are looking pretty good.
