Local Veterans Honored at Wreaths Across America event
Colonel Richard Ayres, 17th Training Wing commander, carries an Air Force wreath to lay in honor of all Air Force members past and present during the Civil Air Patrol's annual Wreaths Across America event at Belvedere Memorial Park in San Angelo on Dec. 13. During the event CAP and other volunteers lay wreaths on the graves of veterans around the country to honor their courage and sacrifice, and this year more than 150 wreaths were placed on the graves of local veterans.
