George H.W. Bush Gallery grand opening in Fredericksburg
Navy Chief Petty Officers from Goodfellow AFB, Texas, serve as side boys, or Navy honor guard, along with other CPOs from San Antonio, for the Pearl Harbor Day remembrance ceremony in Fredericksburg on Dec. 7. Earlier in the day, the grand opening ceremony of the George H.W. Bush Gallery of the War in the Pacific Museum was held. 80 volunteers of Soldiers, Sailors, Airman and Marines from Goodfellow travelled 150 miles to help with the opening of the museum expansion, providing chair set-up and tear down, distinguished guests escort and led tours of the new facility. The former President George H.W. Bush, attended as well as Rick Perry, Governor of Texas. Over 4,000 people were in attendance. (U.S. Air Force photo by/Robert D. Martinez)
