About Honor Guard

Our Mission:

The mission of the Goodfellow Air Force Base Honor Guard is to represent Airmen to the American public and the world.

Our Vision:

The vision of the USAF Honor Guard is to ensure a legacy of Airmen who: promote the mission, protect the standards, perfect the image, and preserve the heritage.

Our Services:

We serve 28 counties and over 36,000 square miles of central Texas. Our primary function is to perform full military honored funerals for veterans, retirees, and active-duty Air Force members.

We also provide non-funeral related services at various base events to include: retirements, promotion and change of command ceremonies.  We also support off-base requests such as: parades, flag-folding demos, Prisoner of War and Missing in Action table ceremonies, and weddings. Furthermore, we work closely with our sister service counterparts, in which we have the opportunity to perform these services in a joint capacity at major venues and parades.
