Veteran Affairs Clinic honors Col. Charles and JoAnne Powell

U.S. Air Force Col. Angelina Maguinness, 17th Training Wing commander, delivers remarks on the impact Charles and JoAnne Powell had on Goodfellow Air Force Base and the surrounding community of San Angelo during the Veteran Affairs Clinic renaming ceremony, San Angelo, Texas, July 31, 2023. Maguinness discussed the legacy that Charles and JoAnne Powell left behind and the importance of the renaming ceremony. “As we reflect on the legacy of the Powells, let us remember that the greatest tribute we can pay to them is to continue their mission, to continue the work they started, and to keep the flame of service burning bright within us. Let us ensure that this clinic, now bearing the Powell name, remains a beacon of hope for those who have served our nation,” said Col. Maguinness.
