Leveling Up the Ranks: Honoring Goodfellow’s New SNCOs

U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. John Meadows III, 315th Training Squadron, accompanied by his dad, John Meadows II, walk through the saber cordon, inducting him into the highest tier of the enlisted force during the Senior Noncommissioned Officer Induction Ceremony at the Powell Event Center, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas, Aug. 22, 2025. Each inductee entered the room through a saber cordon, which is used to salute the new SNCOs as a show of respect for the sacrifices and commitments the inductees have made to earn the rank of master sergeant.
