The Navy Center for Information Warfare Training Detachment Goodfellow hosted a 75th Pearl Harbor remembrance ceremony at Liberty Park Dec. 7.

“The sacrifice made by American Sailors can never be measured,” said Petty Officer 1st Class Sirita Weaver, Navy CIWT instructor. “We can all not imagine the horrific events of Pearl Harbor 75 years ago. Think of the thousands of stories that will never be told, the letters to home never finished, the dead watches never turned over and the homecoming never enjoyed.”

The event included colors posted by an all Navy color guard, a wreath placing at the anchor and an audio clip of the speech from Franklin Roosevelt on the Pearl Harbor attack.
