Goodfellow Air Force Base service members marched with Wounded Warriors and high school bands from the local community during the Heroes Hunt Parade in Santa Fe Park, Dec. 10.

The local community invited the veterans out for the parade.

“I heard about this through a friend,” said Paul Brooks, veteran. “He recommended I come out and take part in it.”

The parade hosted military formations from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Air Force.

Active duty service members in dress uniform drove golf carts with a Wounded Warrior. After the parade the veterans partook in a hunt on a reservation.

San Angelo Support for Veterans and Lone Star Warriors Outdoors put on the event.
