Airman Jonah Chose, 316th Training Squadron trainee, is the Goodfellow Student of the Month Spotlight for April, a series highlighting exceptional airmen, soldiers, sailors and marines.

17th Training Wing Public Affairs: What led you to join the military?

The reason that I joined the military was to bring pride to my last name. Everything I do, I take pride in and do to the best that I can. The reason the military seemed best suited for me was the chain of command, and how you can move up and be respected for the work that you put in.

What has been the most impactful moment in your career so far?

My career has been short so far but I feel that it was receiving a challenge coin from our squadron commander at the 320th Training Squadron during basic training.

What are your hobbies?

My hobbies are working on my 1941, Ford. Working out and working really hard on my job as well as my leadership skills.

What do you want to accomplish during your time here at Goodfellow Air Force Base?

During my time here at Goodfellow, I would like to receive a red rope and I would like to get more comfortable talking with commissioned officers.
