Photo story - ASU hosts Military Appreciation Day Published Sept. 17, 2018 By Airman 1st Class Zachary Chapman 17th Training Wing Public Affairs SAN ANGELO, Texas -- Angelo State University welcomed Goodfellow Air Force Base members and family to Military Appreciation Day at LeGrand Stadium, San Angelo, Texas, Sept. 15, 2018. Military Appreciation Day began with tail-gating at 10 a.m. followed by the Ram Jam, with a performance by Wade Bowen. Finally, ASU faced off against Texas A&M Kingsville. Col. Ricky Mills, 17th Training Wing commander, flipped the coin to start the game. During the half-time ceremony, volunteers from Goodfellow joined the Rams band on the field and held the U.S. states flags.
