Those willing to endure the rain were able to listen to Wade Bowen perform during the Ram Jam segment of the Military Appreciation Day at the LeGrand Alumni and Visitor’s Center, in San Angelo, Texas, Sept. 15, 2018. SAN ANGELO, Texas -- Angelo State University welcomed Goodfellow Air Force Base members and family to Military Appreciation Day at LeGrand Stadium, San Angelo, Texas, Sept. 15, 2018. Military Appreciation Day began with tail-gating at 10 a.m. followed by the Ram Jam, with a performance by Wade Bowen. Finally, ASU faced off against Texas A&M Kingsville. Col. Ricky Mills, 17th Training Wing commander, flipped the coin to start the game. During the half-time ceremony, volunteers from Goodfellow joined the Rams band on the field and held the U.S. states flags.
