The Navy Center for Information Warfare Training Detachment and fellow Goodfellow members celebrated the Navy’s 243rd birthday with a ball at the Event Center on Oct. 12.

Guest speaker, retired Lt. Delavan Pfranger, recounted his days in the Navy as a Radioman, from going through school to being at the Pentagon.

“I’ll never forget my career in the Navy,” said Pfranger. “It changed this farm boy’s life forever.”

The theme ‘Forged by the Sea,’ focused on the heritage and history the Navy has with sea, and how over the years the Navy has continued to change and evolve to become what it is today.
