Remembering D-Day with a special retreat

On June 6, Goodfellow celebrated the 75th anniversary of D-Day’s landing on Normandy with a retreat ceremony and fly over in front of the Norma Brown Building here.

Col. Ricky Mills, 17th Training Wing commander, spoke on remembering the nearly 5,000 American troops who died on D-Day. Civic leaders were invited to join in the remembrance and the fly over by the C-130J Super Hercules.
