GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --

The 17th Training Wing celebrated the Air Force’s newest senior noncommissioned officers’ induction ceremony here, Aug. 27. 

Those inducted are transitioning from technical experts and first-line supervisors of their field to operational leaders skilled in merging subordinates’ talents, skills, and resources with other teams’ functions to most effectively accomplish the mission. 

This year the SNCO Induction Ceremony was in person and virtually, allowing families and fellow inductees to attend.

Chief Master Sgt. Casy Boomershine, 17th Training Wing command chief, spoke to the inductees about her own career.

“You have to decide what is next for you,” said Boomershine. “What kind of leader do you want to be? What are you going to do? What is your next goal?”
