The COVID-19 pandemic is a constantly changing threat that has major effects worldwide. Wearing a mask and getting your COVID-19 vaccination is more critical than ever with the threat of the Delta variant.

The Delta variant spreads more easily and faster than the other variants, which has led to a spike in COVID-19 cases across the U.S. This spike in cases, as reported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, may result in more hospitalizations, stress on healthcare assets and possible deaths.

Wearing a mask that has two or more layers of washable, breathable fabric, fits snugly against the sides of your face and has a nose wire to prevent air leaking will help improve your safety and decrease the chance of you contracting the virus, according to the CDC. Even if you are fully vaccinated, you can continue to implement mask-wearing, get COVID-19 tested before and after travelling and isolate if in contact with a COVID-19 positive person.
