GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --

My job supports the 17th Training Wing’s mission by getting service members up to date on all their labs and immunizations, depending on the mission, and ready to deploy.

2. What do you find most rewarding about your work?

I find interacting with the patients during audiograms, and educating them is very rewarding.

3. What has been your biggest challenge in the military, and how did you overcome that challenge?

For me, learning how to prioritize the right tasks at the right time is something that’s definitely given me a hard time, but at the same time, it has helped me improve.

4. What has been your most memorable experience in the military?

I’m fairly new to the Air Force, so for me, right now, it would have to be graduating basic military training.

5. What is one way that you accelerated change?

Getting a planner has allowed me to change my habits and focus on what to prioritize. Change is hard, but it’s necessary for growth.

6. What is one way that you have thrived?

I would have to say I’ve thrived on continuing to keep a positive outlook and mindset on things I can control and taking it one day at a time.

7. What is one piece of information or advice you would like to pass on?

I would advise Airmen to just be positive in uncomfortable situations and not to let negative experiences hinder them, because they’re huge stepping stones that I believe will help them grow as a person and as an Airman.
