The 312th Training Squadron conducted a change of command ceremony at the Louis F. Garland Department of Defense Fire Academy, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas, June 23.

The 312th TRS welcomed the incoming commander, Lt. Col. Branden Delong, and thanked Lt. Col. Samuel Logan for his hard work and dedication over the last two years.

Before joining the 312th TRS, Delong was the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center Detachment 2 Operating Location Alpha chief, where he commanded seven contracted personnel in the execution of $1.6 billion in design and construction projects to surge the capability of Indo-Pacific Command’s Pacific Deterrence Initiative.

As the 312th TRS commander, Delong is now responsible for training, developing, and inspiring warriors to deliver fire emergency services and nuclear treaty monitoring for the Department of Defense and our international partners.
