315th Training Squadron welcomes new commander

The 315th Training Squadron conducted an assumption of command ceremony and welcomed the incoming commander, Lt. Col. Richard Ball, at the Powell Event Center, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas, July 6.

Before joining the 315th TRS, Ball was the deputy director of strategic plans, programs, requirements, and assessments at the 70th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing, Fort George G. Meade, Maryland.

As the 315th TRS commander, Ball is now responsible for training, developing, and mentoring future ISR warriors through innovation to develop combat-ready ISR professionals and promote an innovative squadron culture and identity unmatched across the United States Air Force and Space Force.
