Goodfellow's School Age Program is in full swing, an accredited program providing weekly camps during the summer for youths ages 5-12, Monday-Friday, beginning June 3 at the School Age Building.

In addition to providing weekly summer camps, the School Age program also provides a before and after school program, which includes a tutoring and homework incentive program called Power Hour. Power Hour helps children improve their personal homework goals. As they meet their goals they earn rewards.

During the programs, youths can build social, leadership and self-esteem skills while providing opportunities for dramatic arts, music lessons, science, engineering, fine arts and physical development.

Each Friday, the youths participate in 4-H Clubs ranging from raising animals and gardening to bicycling and woodworking.

During the summer, the School Age Program organizes local and major field trips including day trips to the Caverns of Sonora and the San Antonio Zoo.
