Park University’s School of Business earns ACBSP accreditation Published April 24, 2013 Parkville, Mo -- Park University's School of Business has earned accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. ACBSP is a specialized accrediting organization that reviews the quality and integrity of business degree programs. Accreditation by ACBSP is based on an independent evaluation of an institution's business school and programs by a group of professionals. This includes evaluation of academic administrators and faculty in the field of business. "ACBSP accreditation ensures that graduates of the School of Business at Park University are educated in the critical areas for business study, including grounding in a common professional component that helps students solve multidisciplinary problems and be effective decision-makers," said Brad Kleindl, Ph.D., School of Business dean. "Our students receive practical problem-solving and data analysis skills, leadership abilities, environmental awareness and good citizenship. Employers find value in knowing that these students have graduated from a school that uses the same standards as those used by businesses, health care providers and others who have met the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence."
