The summer PCS season will be starting soon, so here are some tips on what to expect when receiving personal property from a transportation service provider.

Delivery at your new home includes one-time lying of rugs, one-time placement of furniture and items in a room, in your place of choice. All articles, such as furniture disassembled by the TSP or items originating from non-temporary storage will be reassembled. The TSP agent or contractor will have all tools for reassembling on hand.

On a one-time basis, all barrels, boxes, cartons and crates will be unpacked and the contents will be placed in a room designated by you or a representative. This includes placing items in cabinets, cupboards or on shelving in the kitchen as long as it's safe to do so. This does not include re-arranging the items. The unpacking service and debris removal will be performed to your satisfaction when the goods are delivered to your home unless, on the date of delivery, it is waived in writing by you or a representative. If unpacking is waived, the TSP is not required to remove empty boxes at a later date.

If there is a problem with a delivery, call the Goodfellow Transportation Flight at 325-654-3749 or 325- 234-2259. For any other personal property questions call 325-654-4437.
