The Goodfellow First Sergeants' Council, along with Chief Master Sgt. Robert Frank, Air Force first sergeant special duty manager, gave $10 Army and Air Force Exchange Service gift cards to random military members eating at the Western Winds Dining Facility here, Feb. 19.

The First Sergeants' Council participate in random acts of kindness as part of Operation Warmheart.

"We do this to let people know that Operation Warmheart is not just once a year and that we spread it out," said Master Sgt. Rachel Taylor, 312th Training Squadron first sergeant. "Traditionally Operation Warmheart is done on Thanksgiving and Christmas."

Master Sgt. James Baxley, 17th Medical Group first sergeant, said he enjoys when people freak out a little when they try and give them free stuff.

"The best part is when you give it to someone and they give it back and tell you to give it to someone else," said Baxley.

Overall $500 in AAFES gift cards were handed out.
