Single-vehicle accident claims life of GAFB Airman Published Jan. 2, 2013 17 TRW/PA Goodfellow AFB, Texas -- Airman 1st Class Brandon Jackson, 21, died Jan. 1 at a local area hospital following a single-vehicle accident in San Angelo, Texas. Airman Jackson was a 17th Force Support Squadron career development apprentice from Stone Mountain, Georgia. He joined the Air Force in January 2012 and arrived at Goodfellow AFB in May 2012. "We are mourning the tragic loss of a member of our Goodfellow family," said Col. Mark Damiano, 17th Training Wing Commander. "Airman Jackson was a caring, compassionate, and professional Airman who had a positive impact on those who knew and associated with him." "Airman Jackson was a valued member of our team and will be greatly missed. His untimely passing touches all of us and we hope that you keep his family, friends and co-workers in your thoughts during this very difficult time," added Col. Damiano.
