Project Angel Tree is just one more way the Goodfellow First Sergeants' Council, along with the Base Exchange, is helping those in need this holiday season.

The goal of Project Angel Tree is to raise money to buy gift cards for children who are in need for the holidays. The gift cards are given to the children, who are then able to use them at the Base Exchange to purchase anything of their choosing.

Anyone wishing to donate to the fundraiser can simply visit the Base Exchange; in the entrance of the store is the Project Angel Tree. On the tree are different colored angel ornaments, each color representing a different donation amount. Customers are then able to take the angel of their choice to the register and purchase it, where all proceeds then go to Project Angel Tree.

The project began Nov. 22 and will continue on until Dec.17. So be sure to stop by the exchange and give a little this holiday season so that those young children can have a happy holiday!
