CONCHO VALLEY RAPE CRISIS CENTER: VOLUNTEER ADVOCATE

ANGELO CIVIC THREATRE: "BECKY'S NEW CAR" - COMEDY PLAY
Volunteers needed:
5 per day
Responsibilities: Take tickets, hand tickets out at 'will call' window,
usher patrons to their seats, and assist ACT staff in picking up afterwards.
Date/ time: June 8-9, June 14-17 and June 21-23. Times are 7 to 10:45 p.m. Sunday hours are 1 to 4:45 p.m.

TEXAS STATE SPORTING CLAY CHAMPIONSHIP
Volunteers needed:
30-35 (each day) Sign up by April 1.
Responsibilities: Trapper, keep score, launch clays, etc. Training will be provided on the afternoon of June 5, 6.
Date/ time: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 9, 10
Location: 8 miles southwest of San Angelo off U.S. 67 (look for the sign). Bus transportation will be provided for those who need it.
Additional info: Lunch and drinks will be provided for training and actual event. Volunteers need to bring sunglasses/safety glasses, hat and comfortable shoes.

SAN ANGELO STORM BASKETBALL AND PRIME TIME SPORTS: WILD WEST SHOOT-OUT BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

LAKE NASWORTHY 4TH OF JULY EVENT
Volunteer needed:
As many as possible
Responsibilities: Greet and welcome the guests as they arrive and show them around if needed. Serve food and drinks for about 3 hours. Drive golf carts to pick up guests between Bentwood Country Club and the ASU pavilion. Decorate and remove the decorations at the ASU pavilion. Ensure that the guests are enjoying the event.

Additional info: If possible, I would like to have a volunteer who enjoys these events to manage the entire production. He or she will meet some of the elite from San Angelo and get some great responsibilities.

KEEP SAN ANGELO BEAUTIFUL: GREAT AMERICAN CLEANUP

Responsibilities: Help citizens unload debris, trash, furniture from trailers

SAN ANGELO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: SHOWDOWN IN SAN ANGELO (DRAG BOAT RACES)

Additional Info: Volunteers will be allowed to stay and watch the drag boat races on the days they volunteer, considered one of the best in the country. Transportation could possibly be provided for some, but would prefer carpooling.

BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF SAN ANGELO: MENTOR OUTREACH TO AT-RISK YOUTH
