SAN ANGELO MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS: FAMILY DAY CAMBODIA
Volunteers needed: 15 to 20 per shift
Responsibilities: Greet visitors, administer surveys, serve food, assist with art activities, clean up at the end of the event.
Date and time: April 14, 9:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. or 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Additional info: Individuals with some knowledge of the Khmer language are needed to lead language and writing activities. Anyone with stories, objects, or photos of Cambodia is welcome to share with the participants.

SHANNON HEALTH AND WELLNESS: CATCH IN MOTION - KIDS' FINAL LAP MARATHON
Volunteer needed: 12 volunteers

Additional Info: Hand out t-shirts at finish line, pull race numbers, cheer students across
the finish line.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY/ AIR FORCE SERGEANTS ASSOCIATIONS
Volunteers needed: 100
Responsibilities: To help restore San Angelo neighborhoods, by painting local homes near old Lincoln Middle School.
Date/ time: 8 a.m., April 28

2012 UPWARD SOCCER SEASON
Volunteers needed: 30 to 45
Responsibilities: Coach and referee youth soccer
Date/ Time: Coaches start practice on March 26th; referees start April 21st. Coaches and referees Will need to attend in February and March.
Location: Kirby Park, Edmund Blvd. and Nueces Street

Additional info: Commitment of 2 hours a week for coaches and 2 to 3 hours a week for referees. Season ends June 11th.

TEXAS STATE SPORTING CLAY CHAMPIONSHIP
Volunteers needed: 30-35 (each day) Sign up by April 1.
Responsibilities: Trapper, keep score, launch clays, etc. Training will be
provided on the afternoon of June 5 & 6.
Date/ time: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 9 and 10
Location: 8 miles southwest of San Angelo off U.S. 67 (look for the sign). Bus transportation will be provided for those who need it.
Additional info: Lunch and drinks will be provided for training and actual event. Volunteers need to bring sunglasses/safety glasses, hat and comfortable shoes.

LAKE NASWORTHY 4TH OF JULY EVENT
Volunteer needed: As many as possible
Responsibilities: Greet and welcome the guests as they arrive and show them around if needed. Serve food and drinks for about 3 hours. Drive golf carts to pick up guests between Bentwood Country Club and the ASU pavilion. Decorate and remove the decorations at the ASU pavilion. Ensure that the guests are enjoying the event.

Additional info: If possible, I would like to have a volunteer who enjoys these events to manage the entire production. He or she will meet some of the elite from San Angelo and get some great responsibilities.

BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF SAN ANGELO: MENTOR OUTREACH TO AT-RISK YOUTH
Volunteers needed: 50
Responsibilities: Interact with and mentor youth at Northside and Southside facilities
Date/ time: As soon as possible, minimum of one hour per week with at least a 6-month commitment.

SONRISAS THERAPEUTIC RIDING
Volunteers needed: 12 per class
Responsibilities: Side-walkers for riders and horse leaders
Date and time: Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday for 1-hr classes at 9, 10 and 11a.m., and 1 p.m.
