VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY - Dec 16
Event: Seeking 15-20 volunteers to help clean up. We will be meeting in the 17th Medical Group back parking lot. All bags, gloves and vest will be supplied. Please bring or wear extra clothing. For an accurate head count, please e-mail or call by Noon on Dec. 15.

COMMUNITY HELPING HAND - Dec. 16
Event: Volunteers are needed to help out during a community event. La Posada will include food and Goodfellow Air Force Base Marines will be handing out gifts collected during their Toys for Tot campaign.
Location: The Paseo Pavilion behind Los Panchetos, between Oakes and Chadborne.
Date/Time: Dec. 16, 6-10 p.m.

MEDICAID FOR THE ELDERLY PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES - ongoing
Responsibilities: Clerical functions, greet clients and answer phones.
Date/Time: Weekdays, a minimum of four hours per week
Location: 622 S. Oakes St., Suite E-1

Training will be provided by Texas Health and Human Services Commission. Seeking long-term volunteer, preferably for a minimum of six months, but will consider shorter commitment.
