Goodfellow's Community Appreciation Day slated for Nov. 19 Published Oct. 13, 2011 GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Goodfellow's Community Appreciation Day is slated for Nov. 19. The base will open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Come get a first-hand look at Goodfellow's mission and operations. Visitors will be treated to military demonstrations and displays. The annual Santa's Market is also set for the same day and will include more than 100 vendors. Come get a head start on holiday shopping. Enter the base near the Jacobson Gate on South Chadbourne Street ... just follow the signs. Schedule of Events Event Map The 17th Medical Group also will host its annual Retiree Health Fair from 8 a.m. to noon at the Ross Clinic. The fair will include health screenings and information on a variety of health topics.
