'Hunt for Heroes' parade - Nov. 18 Published Nov. 4, 2011 GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The annual "Hunt of Heroes" parade is set for 11:30 a.m. Nov. 18 in San Angelo. The parade kicks off near the Santa Fe Park Golf Course at 111 Santa Fe Park Dr. The parade pays tribute to 25 wounded Iraq and Afghanistan combat veterans who are participating in the event, which includes an expenses-paid West Texas hunting trip as well as numerous other events and activities. All are invited to attend, line the parade route and cheer on the wounded warriors. The parade will start at Santa Fe Park Golf Course and follow the River along Park Drive ending at South Irving Street.
