Free child safety seat check Sept. 23 Published Sept. 21, 2011 GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Did you know that children should remain rear facing at least until they are 2 years old? Did you know that children ages 4-8 may need to be in a booster seat? Did you know that almost everyone installs some portion of a child seat incorrectly? The next free child safety seat check up is Sept. 23 from 3-5 p.m. in the commissary parking lot. Interested parents must bring their children with them to have the child seats checked.
