Base Post Office renovations begin

GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The Base Post Office building will undergo renovations starting the week of Sept. 12 until summer 2012. Renovations include a complete interior update with new energy-efficient heating and air conditioning system, and new electrical wiring. Above is the traffic plan and changes during the renovation timeframe. The Base Official Mail Center, Base Postal Service Center, and the U.S. Postal Service offices will be located in trailers in the north parking lot; the outgoing mailbox will be located across the street from the trailers.
