Goodfellow Exchange events announcements Published July 21, 2011 GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Video game competition July 23 Army and Air Force Exchange Service Kinect™ for Xbox 360® World Wide Competition comes to the Goodfellow's Exchange Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participants will compete in two to three track and field events using their entire bodies. The event is open to all ages. Registrations are required. Gas pump extra savings starts July 25 The Goodfellow Exchange is marking the 116th birthday with 16-cents off per gallon of gas Monday-Wednesday when patrons use their Military Star® Card or Military Star® Rewards Card. Delivery service starts The Goodfellow Exchange is taking the hassle and expense out of getting new furniture, appliances and mattresses home and installed by partnering with Sears Home Delivery. Shoppers making purchases prior to 3 p.m. often can schedule delivery for the very next day. A two-hour window is set the evening before the uniformed Sears crews deliver. Cost ranges from $79.95 to $94.95. In addition to delivery and installation, old appliances, mattresses and furniture are hauled away for $10 per item, one for one. Healthy school snack competition The Army and Air Force Exchange Service is holding a "Patriot Family Healthy Snack Recipe Contest" with $4,200 in winnings for the tastiest, healthiest after-school snacks. The deadline for entering is Aug. 11. Entries must include an original photo of the healthy after-school snack and fifty words describing the origin of the recipe. Winners will be determined based on criteria that includes flavor, originality, healthy ingredients, ease of preparation and feasibility. Winning entries will be selected on or about Sept. 30.
