North Gate re-opens in August Published July 14, 2011 By 17th Training Wing Public Affairs GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Beginning Aug. 1, the hours of operation for the North Gate will be 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for inbound and outbound traffic. The gate will be open for outbound traffic only from 2 to 6 p.m. The 17th Training Group is currently operating under a summer training schedule. The gate will return to a 6 a.m. opening when the 17th TRG goes back to normal training hours in the fall. The North Gate will be closed on weekends.
