Nathan Sinning GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Kearney Boulevard between Valient Street and Jacobson Gate will be closed Feb. 27 - April a to install new barriers. During this time, gate hours and traffic flow will be altered (download HighRes photo). Jacobson Gate will only be open from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. It will be closed weekends and holidays. The visitor control center will be open weekdays from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. The north gate will be open 24/7 and people are highly encouraged to use it during the construction.
