The results are in. The Landings at Goodfellow housing residents got the latest findings of the recent resident survey during this year's first quarterly town hall meeting Jan. 25 at the community center, and heard changes the staff plans to incorporate to improve residents' satisfaction.

Results from this year's survey showed The Landings at Goodfellow was rated as one of the best military housing communities in the nation. Such a high mark is thanks from feedback obtained in past years' surveys, which were used to help Landings staff here improve services that needed attention, said Rudy Soto, Community Director.

"The surveys allow us to gauge how we're doing," he said. "Residents' satisfaction based on prior surveys has improved significantly. With the 2010 results we hope to continue to build an even better overall satisfaction."

One way the staff hopes to do this is by creating action plans for areas identified in the survey that need correcting or improving. For examples, plans could include additional training and quality assurance programs and other tools to gain valuable feedback, Mr. Soto said.

And although maintenance services scored very high, Mr. Soto said they are still aiming to improve it even more by providing additional training opportunities for technicians such as sending some to appliance training.

"We are always looking for ways to improve services across the whole spectrum," he added.

He encourages residents to continue to provide them with suggestions and feedback on how they can improve their quality of living.

"We're open to any type of idea," he said.
