In what has become an annual tradition at Goodfellow, the Army took on the Navy in a friendly game of flag football Dec. 1. The Army rolled over the Navy 28 to 12 to maintain bragging rights for another year.

The Army won the coin toss and elected to play offense for the start of the game. They wasted little time in moving the ball 60 yards in five plays. Army scored their first touchdown and PAT of the night taking a 7 to 0 lead with 14:48 remaining in the half.
In their first possession, Navy didn't respond and had to punt the ball back to Army. It would only take the Army six plays to score their second touchdown of the half and second PAT, taking a 14-0 lead with six minutes left in the half.

In the second possession of the game, Navy had a nice nine-yard run, but fell short with two incomplete passes and had to punt. Army received the punt on their own 40-yard line and returned the punt to the Navy 10 yard line. Three plays later, Army scored their third TD of the first half to make it 20 to 0.

Navy had an opportunity before the half to score and were within scoring distance, but failed to connect. In the second half Navy combined their running and passing attack with a six play, 60 yard scoring drive to make it 20 to 6. A quick turnover by the Army and Navy was in business again, but couldn't capitalize. Navy turned the ball over on downs on their own 45 yard line. This time, Army rolled out their offensive machine scoring a TD on their third play and went for 2-points to make the score 28 to 6. In the ensuing possession Navy mounted an eight play, 80-yard drive to cut the score to 28 to 12 which would be the final score.
