CFC finale: wing raises fourth highest in history Published Nov. 16, 2010 By Master Sgt. Brian Chris GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The 2010 Combined Federal Campaign kicked-off here this year Sept. 3 with a 2.5 mile triangle run and Fire Truck Pull, won by the 344th Military Intelligence Battalion. It concluded Oct. 29 with several units participating in the first-ever Tug-O-War finale, won by the 315th Training Squadron. Team Goodfellow exceeded its goal of $167,518.60 by 113.14 percent, raising $189,534. This year's total is the fourth highest total raised in base history. The 315th TRS raised the most on base with a total of $50,440.54 and held some of the most successful fundraisers, including pancake and bake sales, burger burns and a student Halloween Party. The 315th TRS campaign finished off with a Burger Burn/Head Shaving Finale. The squadron raised $6,765.46 in fundraisers alone. The 344th MIBN exceeded their goal of $11,612 in just 17 days, and exceeded it by $15,005.12; that's 229.22 percent. This year's big fundraiser for many units was the Video Game Raffle where the 312th Training Squadron raised $600, the 17th Training Support Squadron raised $400 and the Navy Detachment raised $200. 2010 CFC Key Workers: Master Sgt.
