Exchange carves up prices for post-Thanksgiving shopping Published Nov. 16, 2010 GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Military shoppers hungry for some tasty holiday prices may bite off more than they can chew as the Goodfellow Exchange serves up a buffet of deals the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving. The feast of savings begins at 4 a.m. Black Friday (Nov. 26) with a smorgasbord of deals on electronics, jewelry, clothing and everything in between. Savings for select LED TVs and desktop bundles will be available as well as diamond stud earrings. Additionally, select designer handbags will be discounted from 5-7 p.m. On Saturday, savings begin at 6 a.m. and include select LED TVs, GPS units and Blu-ray players as well as all fashion jewelry and diamond stud earrings, to name a few. The first 200 shoppers to visit the exchange on Black Friday and Saturday can pile on extra savings with scratch-off cards offering a variety of specials to include gift cards and additional discounts. Beyond Black Friday weekend, price cuts are sure to keep military shoppers coming back to the exchange temporary and permanent price reductions. "Pricing is going to be dynamic through the end of the year," said base exchange general manager, Pat Tinker. "We're going to be making adjustments throughout the holidays to ensure the Exchange is providing the best possible value for authorized patrons."
